One of the finest 100% Godello wines I have ever tasted, the 2011 Rogo comes from the backwater appellation of Valdeorras. Aged completely in stainless steel with its malolactic blocked, it reveals lovely notes of white citrus, orange zest, pear and spring flowers. This full-flavored, perfumed, intense yet elegant white wine possesses amazing length and texture, particularly for a Godello. One can see the enthusiasm the Spanish have always had for this grape varietal. Drink this 2011 over the next several years. -91pts WA (RP)
