As has often been the case, this fine value offers an ideal introduction to the wiles of Austria’s national grape, though I could see someone maintaining that it was “too serious” for that purpose and preferring the easygoing charm of the corresponding Domaene Gobelsburg. Plan to enjoy this over the next 2-3 years. -89pts WA (DS)
