Grand Cru Wine Merchants

The 2006 Triumphal Arc Grenache from the Light Pass sub-region was sourced from 40-year-old vines and aged for 14 months in second-use French oak. Dark ruby-colored, it has an alluring bouquet of cedar, spice box, tobacco, sage, strawberry, and black cherry. It is sweeter, richer, and more fruit-driven than the Chateau Grenache bottling. Very intense, layered, plush and long, it will drink well through 2021. -94pts WA (JM)
