The 2004 Contours Riesling was sourced from vines planted in 1961. The wine is held back to provide additional bottle age prior to release. Light gold-colored, it offers up a beautiful nose of lemon oil, honeysuckle, mineral, and melon. Medium-bodied and already exhibiting complexity, it has several more years of aging potential and should drink well through 2016. -92pts WA (JM)

The grapes come from the oldest vines on the vineyard, planted in 1962.
