About Craig
Spurred by a passion for wine informed by his culinary background, Craig Brautigam opened Grand Cru in November 2006. A graduate of the New England Culinary Institute in Vermont, Craig has worked at Chicago restaurants Le Francais and Trio. He left the kitchen to pursue management positions in the front-of-the-house at restaurants in North Carolina and Memphis, Tennessee. But wine was calling and Craig answered when he happened into a small local shop in need of a salesperson -- The rest is history.
